The science of feeling like yourself again.
A specialist-led practice, built for the way Canadians actually live.
Get startedOur Story
Our founder was a senior vice president in Canadian pharma when he started losing energy, libido and motivation — the textbook signs of low testosterone. His family doctor turned him down. The wait for a specialist was eighteen months. He realised most Canadian men were getting generalist guesswork instead of specialist-grade care. So he partnered with an internal medicine specialist and built Gambit.
We started with testosterone. Treating it properly required deeper bloodwork and a specialist's read of it — and that combination became the foundation everything else is built on. Today Gambit treats hormone health, metabolic care, and sexual health, each protocol specialist-reviewed and grounded in the same full-panel work.
You don't have to be told you're fine when you're not.
Gambit isn't generalist guesswork — it's specialist work. Most clinics tell you your numbers are normal and send you home. We read the whole panel, listen to what you're actually living with, and connect the two.
Our internal medicine specialist designs your protocol and adjusts your dose, our health team supports the day-to-day, and our Canadian pharmacy ships it discreetly — treating symptoms, not numbers.
- Specialist-reviewed protocols
- Comprehensive bloodwork, 50+ markers
- Personalized dosing
- Ongoing specialist follow-ups
- Canadian-licensed pharmacy
Powering you beyond your baseline.
The Gambit way.
Specialist-led
Every case crosses an internal medicine specialist’s desk — Dr. Salim, MD FRCPC — before a single prescription is written. Not a GP working from population averages. Not a triaging nurse.
Built on 50+ markers
Every protocol starts with a 50+ marker panel across hormones, metabolic, inflammation, and nutrient status. What we find is what your protocol gets built around.
We take a look under the hood for real.
Discreet and Canadian
Intake, bloodwork, prescription, delivery — every step from your phone, in Canada, through a licensed Canadian pharmacy. No clinic waiting rooms. No insurance forms. No one in your business but you.
Premium, end to end
We hold the same standard at every step — the specialist who reads your bloodwork, the pharmacy that fills your prescription, the team that handles the follow-up.

What makes Gambit different from other Canadian online clinics?
Most Canadian telehealth services are prescription-delivery operations — a general practitioner signs off, a courier brings the medication, and the relationship ends there. We are a concierge digital health clinic for adults who want their care taken seriously. Every patient is assessed against a 50+ biomarker panel and reviewed by one of Canada’s top internal medicine specialists before a protocol is written. Treatment is paired with regular follow-up, dose adjustments based on real numbers, and a fully integrated, privacy-first platform. The result is specialist-led care that meets the standard of an in-person clinic, delivered in the convenience of telehealth — without the eighteen-month wait we built this company to fix.
What does “concierge digital health” actually mean?
Concierge means the time spent on your case is unhurried, the testing is comprehensive, and the people responsible for your protocol know your file. Digital means it runs on a private platform — assessment, bloodwork, specialist review, prescription, and ongoing check-ins — without an in-person clinic visit. In practice you get a 50+ biomarker panel ordered upfront, a written read of the results by our internal medicine specialist, a treatment plan built around your numbers and your goals, and regular check-ins as the protocol settles. You do not need a diagnosis to qualify. You need a body you want to understand and the willingness to act on what the labs say.
How does Gambit ensure quality and safety?
Every medication we prescribe is authorized for sale by Health Canada and carries a DIN — no grey-market sourcing. Every protocol is reviewed by one of Canada’s top internal medicine specialists, not a generalist routing requests. Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hatem Salim, is an MD, FRCPC in internal medicine, an Associate Professor of Medicine at Western University, and former Program Director of Internal Medicine at Victoria Hospital. He reviews your file personally — the same physician who trained the next generation of internal medicine specialists in Canada is the one reading your panel. Bloodwork is repeated on a cadence the protocol calls for, and our specialist adjusts the dose when a marker moves before it becomes a problem.
What does Gambit treat?
We cover the clinical areas where comprehensive hormonal bloodwork and specialist-led protocols change outcomes: testosterone optimization (including fertility-preserving options), growth hormone protocols, medical weight loss (with Health Canada–authorized GLP-1s), women’s health (including estrogen patches for menopausal symptoms), sexual health, hair loss, and clinical-grade bloodwork panels with a written read of every result. Each program is gated by an assessment process matched to the condition — labs where they inform care, specialist review on every case, prescription only when the data supports it. Our specialist recommends the right path based on your assessment, your symptoms, your history, and your goals — never a one-size template.
Where are Gambit prescriptions filled?
Every prescription dispensed for a Gambit patient is filled by a Canadian-licensed pharmacy operating under Health Canada’s regulatory framework. We do not import grey-market product, we do not source from offshore compounders, and we do not ship internationally-supplied medication into Canada. Where a compounded preparation is the right clinical fit, the compounding is performed by a Canadian-licensed compounding pharmacy that meets provincial College of Pharmacists standards for sterility, accuracy, and recordkeeping. Our founder is a Canadian-licensed pharmacist who spent his career inside the pharmaceutical industry, and he set the bar for who we work with personally. Every medication our patients receive is pharmaceutical-grade, traceable, and dispensed under the same Canadian regulatory umbrella as any prescription filled at a hospital pharmacy.
Who is behind Gambit?
Gambit was founded by Issmaeel Lawendy, a Canadian-licensed pharmacist (RPh) and former senior vice president at a major pharmaceutical company, after his own family doctor turned him down and a specialist referral came back with an eighteen-month wait. He partnered with Dr. Hatem Salim — MD, FRCPC in internal medicine, Associate Professor of Medicine at Western University, former Program Director of Internal Medicine at Victoria Hospital, and now Chief Medical Officer at Gambit — to build the clinic he could not find for himself. This is not a venture-funded tech company stitching together prescribers to chase a telehealth land-grab. It is a Canadian clinic built by a pharmacist and one of Canada’s top internal medicine specialists who decided men should not have to wait years to get an answer.
